It’s officially Summertime.
Seasonal promotion is a huge draw for businesses and with School almost being out for summer and holidays approaching, how can you make sure you are staying on top of business promotion?
Utilise your Socials
Use this time to get to know your audience and your customers. How about a weekly or monthly Q and A on your stories using the Instagram question box feature. This gives you a routine that your followers will learn, it gives them a chance to interact with you and the business and it gives you the chance to showcase the people behind the business. Also, how about doing a monthly livestream competition? Again, giving the chance for connection and interaction but also giving the chance to build a community. Having your customers interacting in the live chat and engaging to win a product or service, perhaps a new summer range or experience?
Run a competition
Scheduling a seasonal competition means there is excitement for your followers even if you are on holiday. Again, maybe it is in conjunction with the launch of a new product, range or experience or maybe it’s a way of breathing life into products that have been around for a while. There’s always the option to have a post where followers tag in 3 friends and share to their stories and these always do well. Or maybe run a more creative competition, asking followers to take a photo of themselves interacting with or using your product or service. Create a hashtag which they use in the caption and tag you in along with 3 friends.
Market something New
As I’ve mentioned above, the release of a new product, range or service means there are endless possibilities when it comes to promotion. The best campaigns are called blended campaigns and include digital and traditional modes of advertising. The key to success is to include both clean professional imagery that captures your brand, ethos and story while also interacting with your customers and showcasing yourself and your love for the product, range or service.
