As another year draws to a close, it is important to reflect and connect with your customers. This can be achieved in many ways but the aim is always to make next year bigger and better than ever by listening to your customers.
Q and A, competition and giveaways
Doing Q and A’s is a brilliant way for your customers to get to know you and your brand or business and it is a great way for you to learn what your customers want.
Giveaways and competitions are a great way of building more reach for your business. Creating competitions where customers have to share their story and tag 3 friends genuinely work for bringing more eyes to your business and can really help to generate a higher reach.
Surveys
Why not ask your customers what their favourite product or service was this year? Or how about asking them to suggest something they’d love to see next year? Surveys and questionnaires are the perfect way to gain feedback from your customers in an easy and quick way for you and them. Something like an insta poll or series of question boxes is a clever way to get your customers interacting and having their say in your brand or business. If you really wanted to push the boat out, how about creating a google form? Just make sure in whatever you do, the questions are helpful for you, not too long or boring for your customers and that you gain a mixture of qualitative which is interpretation based, long form written, descriptive answers and quantitative which is measurable eg. numbers and data that you can analyse.
Advent calendar
As it is the festive season, December is the perfect time to showcase your array of products or services through a digital or physical advent calendar for your clients. This could be in the form of a different giveaway everyday; a clue to the launch of a new product or service every day; a chance to win a discount code everyday; the opportunities are endless and it really is a chance to get creative and celebrate your brand or business and your customers.
Teasers
We all know the week between Christmas and new year can feel like a void of cheese, chocolate and movies. But why not fill that void with the excitement of some teasers for what is to come in the new year. ‘Coming Soon’ posts that get customers to sign up to a waitlist or email list can help build anticipation for the new year.
